Business Controller, Sales & Marketing – Campinas region

Our client, a multinational company of the animal health and nutrition segment based in Campinas region, is searching for:

 

 Business Controller, Sales & Marketing – Campinas region

 

Accountabilities: 

  • Ensure the formulation and implementation of business control processes;
  • Responsible for the availability of timely and adequate sales information, including accurate financial data (volumes, prices, cost and margins), supporting sales & marketing OPEX management;
  • Act as key business partner and advisor of the sales areas, helping identifying and addressing improvement points and realizing gain opportunities;
  • Business Planning: together the FP&A area, supports the organization of the year planning and the forecast of the sales & marketing areas, in line with the company´s strategic short and long term goals;
  • Financial control: ensures the timely and accurate availability of financial plans related to the sales & marketing areas and monitors de actual development of those plans;
  • Management advice: proactively advises management in decisions with substantial financial consequences and takes care of financial analyses to support these decisions, within corporate guidelines, to ensure financial awareness in decision-making and to optimize efficiencies and minimize financial risks;
  • Risk management: proactively works on risk identification, while proposing and supporting the implementation of mitigating measures and or provisions when applicable;
  • Process management: proactively review operating and administrative processes within the sales & marketing areas in order to propose and support the implementation of improvement or efficiency measures that can both simplify the current way of working, reduce bureaucracy and increase the financial output from those areas;
  • Budget control: controls the budget of the sales & marketing areas, proposes and supports the implementation of corrective actions when necessary, and ensures adequate reporting to the senior management.

 

Requirements: 

  • Experience in similar position or in advisory positions (e.g. consultancy firms) is required;
  • Experienced in all operational FP&A principles (including cost accounting);
  • Advanced Excel skills and good knowledge on the other MS Office applications;
  • Deep experience in forecasting and margin control processes;
  • Proven skills to work effectively in an international and culturally diverse organization;
  • Previous experience in business strategic planning processes;
  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Economy or Accounting or related fields;
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English, Spanish is highly beneficial;
  • Wiliness to undertake national and international travel.
